Rooms that Feel like Home
Our resident rooms are comfortable, large, and cheerfully bright, with interesting architectural details and a private half bath. Residents are able to surround themselves with familiar and cherished furnishings, like family photographs, favorite artwork, and other treasured mementos that help each room feel like home.
Nursing and Medical Assistance
Wentworth Home provides medication administration and 24-hour nursing care. Third-party providers, such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, or podiatrists, are also welcome on-site to provide those services. Many residents and family members also find comfort knowing Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is just across the street. If you have questions regarding our nursing services, please reach out.
Dementia Capable Care
Our team is led and trained by a certified Dementia Capable Care Specialist. That makes it possible for us to provide any residents with dementia the support they need, across various stages of the condition. Dementia Capable Care Specialists and Certified Instructors are through the Crisis Prevention Institute.
Dining
The dining room is one of Wentworth Home’s most inviting rooms. Meals are enjoyed in a family-style setting, prepared daily using the freshest meats and produce available, and complimented by a daily selection of fresh fruits and breads. We believe in making each meal not only nutritious, but delicious as well.
Relaxation
Our common spaces are warm and cozy, adding to Wentworth Home’s unique character. These areas are available for reading, relaxing, meeting with visitors, or simply engaging in friendly conversation.
Entertainment
